Description Location: O'Fallon, Missouri (Onsite) Reports to: Senior Shift Supervisor Status: Hourly, Non-exempt Schedule: 11:00 pm - 8:00 am, Monday - Friday Rate: $29.03 to $32.34 per hour (+ $3.00 shift differential) We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead production operations in a fast-paced injection molding environment. This role is responsible for supervising shift personnel, driving safe and efficient production, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining strong communication between shifts. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-driven, technically strong in plastic processing, and comfortable leading people on the floor respectfully and productively. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support all personnel on the assigned shift Ensure operations are conducted safely and in compliance with all company policies Lead effective shift handoffs, including review of production status, priorities, and logbooks Maximize production output while maintaining quality and cycle time standards Train and develop shift team members (leads, material handlers, setup staff) Verify correct materials, colors, packaging, and machine operation at all workstations Monitor mechanical, mold, and machine safeties and ensure proper use Address quality, safety, and operational concerns promptly with management Complete accurate production reports and documentation Oversee housekeeping, tool control, scrap handling, and job close-out processes Submit maintenance and tooling requests as issues arise Why Join Us Stable manufacturing environment Hands-on leadership role with real operational impact Safety-driven culture Opportunity to influence production quality, efficiency, and team development Requirements Minimum 5 years of injection molding experience Effective communication and team leadership skills Advanced knowledge of plastic processing and machine operation Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Forklift certified (or ability to become certified) Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 55 lbs Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Ability to climb ladders and work from lifts Ability to work in hot/cold manufacturing environments Steel-toe footwear required Ability to work with hands and tools above shoulder height
