Description Machine Operator *PM Shift* Kingsburg, CA Description Sun-Maid Growers of California in Kingsburg is currently looking to hire qualified Machine Operators. This position is responsible for operating the machine and maintaining production along the line. This is a full-time position. Must be flexible to work any shift. (AM, PM, GRAVEYARD.) Ensure that the machine is set to run within the company specification for the assigned item. Limits overfill, and packaging material waste to specified standard. Keep accurate downtime records. Communicate with others regarding product changes. Must be proficient at verifying and documenting Centerlines Must be able to operate computerized controls and pinpoint mechanical problems. Keeps work area clean and well organized. Union environment/ Union dues Other duties as assigned. Requirements Requirements Must pass background check, drug screening and physical test. High School diploma or equivalent, a plus Must have the ability to speak, read and write English. Good math skills, basic computer skills maybe required High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner Maintain a clean & safe environment This job description is intended to provide you with a general description of the position.
