INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC (MILLWRIGHT)

Full-Time (3 months probation) | Shift Work Required
We’re seeking a certified Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to support operations at a large-scale energy facility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright – 433A)
  • 4+ years of related experience in an industrial or energy sector
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment and meet security clearance requirements
  • Availability for rotating shifts and overtime as needed
  • Continental Shift: 7-7, rotating every 2 weeks (must be comfortable with it)

    Pay: $43.53 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, motors, compressors, valves, and other mechanical systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Support routine and emergency maintenance tasks
  • Work closely with operations and engineering teams to uphold safety and performance standards
  • Follow site procedures and safety protocols, including radiation protection where applicable
