Job Title: Part-Time E-Commerce Data Analyst Schedule: Part-time (with flexible overlap EST hours);Remote Industry: E-commerce About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, data-driven E-Commerce Data Analyst to support our team in uncovering insights that drive growth. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commerce, who understands how e-commerce metrics connect to business outcomes, and who can turn raw data into actionable strategies. You’ll work closely with our team to analyze performance across Shopify and marketing platforms, forecast key metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization. Responsibilities Conduct one-off and recurring analysis to uncover insights and trends in e-commerce performance. Analyze and interpret conversion rates, traffic rates, and drop-offs within Shopify to identify areas for improvement. Support forecasting models for sales, traffic, and other key business metrics. Provide data-backed recommendations to optimize conversion, retention, and revenue growth. Build and maintain reports in Excel and other analytics tools. Collaborate with the team on testing, performance monitoring, and optimization strategies. (Nice to have) Explore and implement AI-driven tools to enhance data analysis and reporting. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Analytics, or related field. Strong knowledge of e-commerce metrics and how they impact growth. Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to dive deep into data and extract insights. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization). Hands-on experience with Shopify analytics and reporting. Strong communication skills to explain insights in a clear, actionable way. Nice to Have (or willingness to learn) Experience with TripleWhale, Klaviyo, or other e-commerce analytics/marketing tools. Familiarity with Google Ads performance data. Interest in leveraging AI tools for reporting and data analysis.
