Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their patient care team. In this role, the RN will deliver safe, age-appropriate patient care and serve as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. The ideal candidate will excel in clinical decision-making, evidence-based practice, and will engage in collaborative, innovative problem-solving to support patients' health and well-being. Responsibilities: Provide safe and compassionate care to patients in an acute care setting, utilizing clinical reasoning, situational learning, and evidence-based practice. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Act as an educator, addressing the intellectual and psychomotor needs of patients and families. Incorporate input from diverse sources to benefit patient, family, and community health. Apply new knowledge, research, and contemporary evidence to make informed clinical decisions. Must Haves: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License (as applicable). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care/telemetry unit. Hospital experience required; long-term care RN experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Nice to Haves: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
