  COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT  AGRO-ECOLOGY ASSISTANT REF NO:46000104-1 AGRO ECOLOGY DIRECTORATE COMMUNITY GARDENS AND FARMING DIVISION  Grade:04   Key Performance Areas •Planting and caring for new plant material stock as directed. •Watering, feeding and removing weeds around seedings. •To assist with the plant production and overall maintenance in the Agri-Hubs. •Harvesting crops for distribution to old aged homes, soup kitchens etc. •Assist with trainings and exhibitions. •Preparing livestock breeding station and setting up tanks for breeding. •Maintain and care for fish, rabbit, chicken and duck stock in cages, canopies, coops, ponds etc. •Cleaning chicken coops, duck canopy and rabbit cages.   Competencies: •Operation monitoring. •Quality control analysis. •Operation and control. •Workplace safety. •Planning and organizing. •Service delivery orientation. •Interpersonal relationships. •Communication. •Learning orientation.
