ABOUT THE CLUB

Terminal City Club is Vancouver’s Premier Private Members Club. As a Platinum Club of the World’ and one of Boardroom Magazine’s ‘Distinguished Clubs’ with ‘Iconic’ status, we create a welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests with the opportunity to forge new business connections, host clients, entertain friends, keep fit and relax.
We are seeking a full-time 4th Class Power Engineer for evening and weekends. Your hands-on technical support in all areas of the Club is what keeps it running smoothly. You work well on your own, as well as part of our team. Your contribution to maintaining a safe, healthy and functional facility for our Members, Guests and Staff is critical to our success at TCC.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Class 4 Power Engineering ticket is required
  • Minimum 2 years maintenance experience in a similar role required
  • Experience and knowledge of common mechanical building equipment, food service equipment and general building maintenance
  • Ability to work well under pressure, both as part of a team or independently
  • Superb communicator with the ability to follow directions
  • Understands and adhered to Health & Safety regulations, laws and protocols at all times
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment; monitor HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing and appliances
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing maintenance issues
  • Conduct daily audits and track activities as directed
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, good manufacturing practices, and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse and production areas
  • Maintain machinery, equipment and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing and/or oiling to ensure optimum working order.
  • Handle emergency requests from guests, members and team members to ensure satisfactory and timely resolutions
