Description A Saint Ann Catholic School 4th Grade Teacher is responsible for providing a faith-centered, academically rigorous education to students while fostering their spiritual, moral, and intellectual development. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards Integrate faith-based principles and Gospel values into daily instruction and classroom activities Support students’ spiritual growth through prayer, liturgy participation, and religious instruction Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development and classroom expectations Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to support the school’s mission Model Christian behavior and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic Church Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities Preferred Skills and Attributes: Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development Ability to incorporate creative and differentiated teaching strategies Strong organizational and time-management skills Collaborative mindset and dedication to community building Work Environment: Classroom setting within a Catholic elementary school Participation in religious services, school events, and extracurricular activities may be required Mission Alignment: The teacher is expected to actively support and promote the mission of Catholic education by nurturing students’ academic excellence and spiritual growth, encouraging them to live out their faith through service, integrity, and compassion.
