Turn IT On is seeking an experienced and highly skilled 4th Line Engineer to join our growing service desk team. This senior technical role will provide expert-level technical support, advanced troubleshooting, and critical issue resolution for complex IT environments within our customer base. The 4th Line Engineer will serve as an escalation point for our Service Desk, Consultants, and 3rd Line Support Teams, ensuring efficient and effective problem resolution, as well as contributing to the development of robust IT solutions for schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs).
This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, and IT service management in an education-focused setting.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, prioritizing workload effectively.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations, particularly in major incident resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent.
  • Google Professional Collaboration Engineer (desirable).
  • CompTIA Security+ / CISSP / CEH (preferred for cybersecurity).
  • ITIL Foundation Certification (desirable).
