CNC 5-AXIS MILLING PROGRAMMER / SETTER ROLE :

You will be required to use Openmind / Hypermill to programme and help set our 9 x Matsuura 4 & 5 Axis Multi Pallet Machining Centres and Large Capacity 3 Axis Doosan VMC. If you have other CAD/CAM experience we are happy to arrange training on the Open Mind Hypermill platform.
Experience on Matsuura machines is preferred but not essential as training would be given

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS :

· Have good knowledge of reading Drawings and GD&T
· Have a good knowledge of machining a variety of materials.
· Experience working to own initiative
· Punctual & Conscientious
· Flexibility and have a good team work ethic.
· Carry out regular Dimensional & visual checks
· Ensure parts are Deburred / finished to a high standard
· Maintain a clean & safe workspace
· Willing to learn and adapt within this role
· Good knowledge of Fanuc Controls
· Good Knowledge of Openmind Hypermill and-or other CAM software packages is advantageous, but full training would be given.
