The Delivery Driver / Swamper plays a vital role in delivering our premium flooring products to job sites across Edmonton and surrounding areas. This position requires a strong work ethic, a focus on safety, and a commitment to providing excellent service while representing Divine’s core values with professionalism at every stop.
All drivers must have a valid Class 5 License and a clean driver’s abstract. This is a highly labour intensive position.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely operate a 5-Ton Truck to deliver a variety of flooring products to residential job sites throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.
  • Load and unload materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment, ensuring product is handled with care and accuracy.
  • Verify delivery documentation, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
  • Meet daily delivery and production goals while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.
  • Follow all Company Health & Safety policies, identifying and mitigating any on-site hazards proactively.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, dispatch, and site personnel to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties such as receiving, inventory movement, and order picking when not on delivery routes.
  • Perform pre- and post- trip vehicle inspections and report any issues or required maintenance promptly.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Gained experience in a physically demanding role, preferably in a delivery or warehouse environment.
  • Developed familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in handling building materials (preferred but not required).
