Description

Willow Park Wines & Spirits have been providing Albertans with wine, beer, and liquor for over 31 years. In addition to retail, we have the largest commercial liquor business in the industry, stocking the best bars and restaurants throughout the province.
We are looking to grow our team by adding a Full Time 5 Ton delivery driver to our Calgary distribution center. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who is capable of lifting cases and moving kegs (up to 150 lbs.) while conducting themselves courteously and professionally. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver products to customers in a safe, courteous manner by maintaining positive customer relations through the proper handling of products, questions, requests, and complaints.
  • Ensure all orders on the trip sheet are loaded and secured on your vehicle according to government legislation before leaving. Also, verify that all invoices for the loads are accounted for prior to leaving the warehouse.
  • Ensure vehicle inspection checklists (located on the trip sheet) are completed on your vehicle and report any deficiencies to management.
  • Meet and greet customers upon delivery and have them verify the delivery by signing the invoice provided and note any damaged or missing product prior to their signing.
  • At every delivery check for product return pink sheets as well as check if the customer has any empty kegs to return. Note keg returns on the signed invoice.
  • Empty truck after every completed run.
  • Maintains delivery vehicle cleanliness and appearance.
  • Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver driving a 5-ton truck for a minimum of 3 years
  • Experience in wines, spirits, or hospitality will be considered an asset
  • Customer Service driven.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Must have the ability to work independently or as a team.
  • Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs.
  • Experience driving in various road conditions.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and heavy lifting.
  • Duties involve frequent, repetitive movements.
