OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 5Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting tires with Rims safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, communication, and teamwork within a warehouse environment.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license for 5 tonne vehicles.
  • Strong moving skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.

    This is a Contract Job. Start date will be October 5th and Last day of work will be December 23rd,2025. A Full G Class license with Clean History and minimum one year of 5 Ton Truck driving Experience is required

    Pay: From $26.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Operate a 5 Tonne vehicle to deliver tires to various dealerships in Ottawa
  • Load and unload tires, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transport.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road.
  • Assist in warehouse operations, including Loading/ Unloading Tires and performing heavy lifting as needed.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
