Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and repair, with expertise in multiple trades. This role requires the ability to assess guest rooms, identify repair needs, and execute tasks efficiently under time constraints to maintain the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities Perform general hotel maintenance tasks, including: Carpentry, plumbing, tile work, and drywall repair Furniture repair and upkeep Assess guest rooms and common areas: Inspect rooms for maintenance needs Create a detailed list of required repairs Execute repairs efficiently under time constraints Inspect HVAC systems for basic troubleshooting and maintenance Perform general repairs on multiple surfaces and fixtures within a hotel setting Complete other assigned duties as needed to maintain property standards Required Qualifications Proven experience in general maintenance or hotel maintenance Skilled in: Carpentry, plumbing, tile work, and drywall repair Furniture repair and basic HVAC troubleshooting Basic electrical work, including knowledge of 120 volts, breakers, and wiring safety Sheetrock installation and repair, including tape, texture, mud, and painting Familiarity with epoxy and repairs Carpet repairs, drapery repair, and patio door/screen repairs TV repair and programming Ability to assess repair needs, create work lists, and complete tasks under time constraints Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Physical capability to perform repairs and handle tools/equipment safely Qualifications General Must be at least 18 years old to obtain a UMUGC Blue Support License (required). Must have a Vald Driver's License. Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. A college degree or a trade-school certification will be given priority. Certifications Any state/federal trade certification will be given priority. Experience At least two years of experience in Engineering & Maintenance or a similar field required. Recent tribal gaming experience preferred.
