ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to unprecedent natural disasters, there has been a significant increase in data collected and analysed by the NSW Reconstruction Authority. This role provides expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on good data practices, solution design, and is responsible for innovative use of technology within the agency. Key responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):

• Data ingestion using compliant processes and automated pipelines
• Maintenance of a centralised data repository that is scalable and interoperable
• Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for transformation of data in a cloud environment.
• Locating new data sets and staying abreast of innovative analytics technologies.
