Job Summary: B&A is looking for an 508 Tester to join a contract with a federal government client] in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting… Responsibilities: Analyze documents to ensure coherence, validity, and to maintain continuity of style of content. Manage updates and revisions to technical literature. Work with internal teams to understand product documentation requirements. Manage one or more customer service or service desk functions. Act as a point of contact to support service users and customers reporting issues, requesting information, access, or other services. Deliver customer service through multiple channels including human, digital, self-service, and automated. Use Section 508 compliance testing tools and checklists to evaluate software, web, and mobile application user interfaces (UI) for Section 508 compliance. Assist project teams in developing 508 remediation plans. Education and Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a dynamic development environment. Required Skills: Strong writing, production, and technical editing skills. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, to include Publisher, Visio, and SharePoint. Strong working knowledge of Atlassian products, to include JIRA and Confluence. Familiarity with Agile and SecDevOps, the SDLC, and general software development (Java, Javascript). Current 508 certification and knowledge of 508 compliance requirements. Familiarity with EazyBI and PowerAutomate/PowerApps. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Very strong analytical skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from engineering, support, and project management. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment. Desired Skills: Experience with coding languages (HTML/CSS, etc.) Familiarity with Agile/SecDevOps Experience with Solutions Development Experience with Implementation/Testing Security Clearance Eligible to obtain a government clearance.
