Job Title: Community Copywriter (Social Comments & Engagement) Location: Canada, Costa Rica, or LATAM Industry: Apparel / Lifestyle Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM PST Employment Type: Full-time or Contract; Remote About the Role We’re looking for a culturally fluent, quick-thinking Community Copywriter to represent our brand voice across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook comments. This role lives at the intersection of copywriting, social media, and culture—replying to customers in real time with wit, personality, and brand-aligned tone. You’ll be the frontline voice of a prominent U.S. apparel brand, shaping how millions of people experience us in the comments section every day. What You’ll Do Write clever, on-brand responses to customer comments and DMs across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook React in real time to trends, memes, and viral moments while staying true to brand guidelines Turn questions, feedback, and even complaints into positive, human brand interactions Collaborate with social, marketing, and customer experience teams to align messaging Flag recurring customer insights, FAQs, and sentiment trends back to internal teams Adapt tone and responses based on platform, audience, and moment Why This Role Matters The comment section is the new homepage. Exceptional written English with a strong feel for humor, timing, and internet culture Deep understanding of Gen Z / Millennial social behavior and comment-section dynamics Experience writing for consumer brands, especially apparel or lifestyle brands (strongly preferred) Ability to balance cleverness with professionalism—knowing when to joke and when to de-escalate Comfortable working in fast-paced, reactive social environments Strong cultural awareness of North American consumers Based in Canada, Costa Rica, or Latin America Nice to Have Experience managing or responding to high-volume social comments Familiarity with TikTok-first brand voices Background in copywriting, community management, or social media Experience working with U.S.-based brands or agencies
