Description

We are seeking an experienced 5th Generation Fighter Operations and Integration Support Specialist to provide comprehensive program management, planning, engineering, and risk reduction support to ACC A589. This role involves identifying technical and operational challenges impacting Command and Control (C2) integration, analyzing business processes to address capability gaps, and facilitating operational feedback and technical evaluation of existing and emerging data link concepts. The ideal candidate will leverage deep operational expertise as a rated 5th Generation fighter pilot (F-22 and/or F-35) and act as a liaison between operational users and program offices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience supporting 5th Generation fighter operations and integration.
  • Between 4 to 8 years as a rated 5th Generation fighter pilot (F-22 and/or F-35).
  • At least 3 years of higher headquarters (HHQ) staff experience (e.g., MAJCOM, NAF, HAF).
  • 3 years of experience reviewing and drafting JCIDS (Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System) requirements documentation.
  • Familiarity with DoD Test and Training facilities and events, such as VTTC, DTC, DMOC, Red Flag, and Fallon ITF.
  • Minimum of 4 years of rated operations experience utilizing Tactical Data Links (TDLs) on 5th Generation fighter aircraft.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Management, or a related technical/scientific discipline.
Responsibilities
  • Support ACC A589 with 5th Generation fighter operations integration and program management.
  • Assist in identifying technical and operational risk factors impacting C2 integration.
  • Provide planning, engineering, technical, and risk reduction support to ongoing programs.
  • Analyze business processes to identify capability gaps and define performance criteria.
  • Conduct operational feedback, analysis, and technical evaluations of current and emerging data link concepts.
  • Serve as an operational subject matter expert and liaison for operational users and program offices.
  • Support Tactical Air Command (TAC) planning and programming activities.
  • Serve as an Action Officer for planning and programming initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with ACC A planning and programming teams.
