Responsibilities:
Every person at Keysight matters and can contribute to our success! With this internship, as a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering Intern, you will get a comprehensive technical training program complemented by the development of your professional skills required in the sales and services environment. This will enable an effective start in your potential career as a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, a Post-Sales Technical and Application Support Engineer, or a Sales Engineer (Account Manager). In particular, a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer plays an important role in anticipating Keysight customer test challenges and finding the best solution for their measurement applications.
You will be able to apply your technical knowledge from your study program in practice, learn test and measurement fundamentals and advanced test methods and instruments in detail, gain invaluable experience working in a large technological international company, and develop your communication skills. After the 1-month onboarding period, you will work on internal and customer-related projects on one or several technology areas (RF/uW, wireless, high-speed digital, optical, automotive test, energy & power, in-circuit test, etc.).

Qualifications:

We’re particularly interested in students from any universities or technical institutes in Germany with the following qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s (BSc, BENg) or master’s degree (MSc, MEng) (preferred: electrical engineering, electronics, information technology, communication, automation).
• Experience with test & measurement equipment (preferred: signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, digitizers, pulse and pattern generators, AWG (arbitrary waveform generators), BERT (bit error ratio testers), protocol/logic analyzers, etc.).
• Strong interest in state-of-the-art electronic technologies and intention to learn and use comprehensive measurement tools and methods.
• Software development experience (preferred: programming in C++/C#, Python, Matlab).
• Other software experience (Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.).
• Language skills:
• High-proficient English language skills in spoken and written forms.
• Fluent German (native speaker or minimum B1) language skills in spoken and written forms.
