Job Opportunities with The Academies by Harvard Student Agencies Position: Virtual Academies Instructor Level One Location: Virtual Commitment: Hours Vary Compensation: $20.00 per hour for first 40 hours before promotion Programs Offered: Business, Coding, Government, Pre-Med, Finance Responsibilities: Collaborate alongside co-instructors to teach a class of high-school aged students Each Academies program is a week or weekend long - you will likely be teaching new students every week Class sizes vary by subject but we target a student-instructor ratio of no more than 15:1 Deliver engaging and interactive lessons based on our provided curricula. Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment Monitor student progress and facilitate them in creating a capstone project Assist with program logistics if necessary Qualifications: Current Harvard undergraduate student Passionate about education and working with students Strong communication skills Ability to commit to working for given program weeks No prior teaching experience necessary!
