TITLE: Packer B POSITION OBJECTIVE: To safely and productively pack finished goods to SPEC provided by charting instruction and regulations of the Packing SPEC Book. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent. P.C. knowledge. Mechanical aptitude. Oral communication skills. Minimal experience required. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates safe work habits. Report unsafe acts or conditions to supervision. Ensure equipment is in safe working order. Attends all site training and meetings. Identify proper packing codes in Packaging Specification Manual. Identify all information on slit reel labels. Performing crane inspections. Printer operation and upkeep. Responsible for good housekeeping practices in assigned work areas. Comply with Recycling Program. Comply with plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices. Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required. Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace. WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Inside and outside environments apply Manufacturing environment Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot) Subject to noise MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE: Working knowledge of horizontal and vertical cranes.
