QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum two years previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance department.
  • Minimum of two years previous mechanical maintenance experience required.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with all written and verbal safety rules using personal protective equipment as required by department and plant safety programs.
  • Follows oral and written instruction of higher management.
  • Works and cooperates with other departments within the plant.
  • Responsible for good housekeeping in assigned and work areas.
  • Comply with all general plant rules on conduct and attendance.
  • Essential to be available for overtime, call-ins and rotating schedules. Clean areas as assigned.
  • Willing to learn and upgrade skill level.
  • Learn and keep Profile’s recycling program going.
  • Always keep all Profile products clean and dirt free.
  • Complete any other task assigned by Superiors.
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
  • Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace
  • Identify and fix mechanical issues in various systems and components including but not limited to gearboxes, rollers, hydraulic / pneumatic cylinders, and associated mechanical devices.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and complete all necessary forms, files and paperwork associated with the PM and work order programs.
