TITLE: Office Clerk B POSITION OBJECTIVE: To review and notify appropriate personnel of any discrepancies between quantities and ship dates for resolution on indicated reports. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate Good oral and written communication skills Mechanical aptitude Good math skills Ability to differentiate colors PC knowledge Management may waive qualifications Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Safety-complies with written and verbal safety rules of plant and department Other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor General cleaning of equipment and work area Receives open sample requests via AS400 or E-mail Verifies availability of items w/sequence Prepares issue tickets for product Visual checks on samples Prepare product for shipment Return product to appropriate areas Forklift operation WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Ability to read tape measurement, digital displays, etc. Inside, protected from weather Temperature controlled May or may not be temperature controlled Subject to noise, moving machinery, and/or electrical currents Possible exposure to some chemicals, gases, high heat and/or ultraviolet lighting Subject to unregulated atmospheric conditions caused by odors, and dusts TRAINING: Per Master Training Plan AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING: Authority to make decisions pertaining to the department and as directed in accordance with the delegation of Authority procedure in the absence of the manager. Authority to make decisions and authorize signature in approval areas pertaining to the department as directed and deemed appropriate by manager Available for these tasks assigned by management in their absence Authority to determine N/C product and the disposition there of Decisions as to quantity of stock product Determination of lead time vs/request due dates MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE: AS400 Operation Forklift PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Ascending, descending ladders and stairs Stooping, bending of spine and waist Kneeling and bending of legs at knees Sitting and standing for sustained periods of time Walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, extending hands and arms in any direction Lifting (not to exceed 50 pounds) Fingering typing with fingers Applying pressure to an object with fingers, palms, wrist, hands and arms Ability to hear and talk by means of spoken word (via face to face or telephone) Ability to differentiate colors Inteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
