Description

ABOUT THE SCHOOL & THE STUDENTS

Located in Aylesbury and part of a thriving special school federation, our provision serves learners aged 11-19, including a specialised 6th Form. We support around 100-105 students across secondary and post-16 phases, grouped in small classes of 6-10 to ensure personalised attention.
Our ethos is grounded in the belief that every student can achieve with the right support. We foster independence, communication, and self-confidence through a curriculum organised around key themes and real-life functional skills. Creative arts, personal, social, moral, and emotional education are integral, underpinned by a commitment to developing resilience, determination, trust, kindness, respect, equity, and friendship in all learners.
Students benefit from a multi-professional support network including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, educational psychologists, and specialist teachers. Approximately 95% receive speech and language support, with around half also benefiting from OT or physiotherapy.
