Trade Copiers Ltd are recruiting a 7.5 tonne driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations around the UK. The successful applicant will work approximately 45 hours between Monday to Friday, with a regular early finish on around lunch time on Fridays . Our company culture has a strong focus on work / life balance, therefore our modern fleet does not operate over the weekend and there would be an average of two nights away per week.
Salary negotiable based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport goods, both collection and delivery.
- Load and unload cargo
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving license (CPC)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver
- Excellent driving record
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety standards
