Juice Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client for a 7.5t Driver/Service Agent on a temp-to-perm basis to work on a dedicated delivery route each week.
Our client, who is a Commercial Laundry and workwear provider, specialise in providing different sectors such as the healthcare industry, Hospitality, and Industrial with a one stop service for Laundry rentals, collections and workwear supplies.
The role is a Temp to Perm opportunity, where you will work for our agency for 12 weeks, then you would be offered a permanent contract with the client after agency probation period has ended.
Due to the nature of this role being very customer facing, we are looking for someone that is not just a driver, but has customer service and client satisfaction at the heart of everything they do to maintain a high standard of service and to be an ambassador for the company.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Up-to-date Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Appropriate licence with no more than 6 points.
• Highly customer-focused with excellent organisational skills.
• PC literacy and problem-solving ability

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (required

• Comply with road transport legislation.
• Serve as the company’s “Service Ambassador” with our customers.
• Deliver and collect items to and from the branch and our customers.
• Accurately record each customer delivery and collection using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) or route manifest.
• Ensure the security and safety of vehicles, property, and customer property.
• Adhere to operating conditions on customers’ premises.
• Understand and follow the scheduled delivery routes.
• Load and unload cages from vehicles containing both clean and soiled linen; handle hamper bags on certain routes.
• Maintain honest, polite, and helpful contact with customers at all times.
• Execute daily and weekly vehicle checks and cleaning routines.
• Record and report customer queries using the correct documentation.
• Perform other duties as instructed by the Logistics/Operations Manager/Supervisor.
• Attend daily driver debrief sessions and update on customer changes or added value opportunities.
