JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of our Machiner to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as adherence to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally with a background in commercial driving.
• Familiarity with flatbed / beaver tail operations is advantageous.
• A valid UK driving licence for 7.5 tonne vehicles is essential.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in driving.

• Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items on a flatbed when necessary.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding health and safety practices during driving and deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional during interactions with clients.
• Cleaning, and checking over machines for hire prior to delivery
