POSITION SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for providing the highest quality food products for all guests and employees at the Leech Lake Bakery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates a variety of baked goods independently or through menu and recipe interpretation.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all bakery items, cooking procedures and handling of all food products.
• Responsible for following recipes, cooking times and temperatures according to the guidelines set by management.
• Consistently practice all procedures for food storage, rotation, spoilage, sanitation and the prevention of cross-contamination
• Delivers exceptional internal and external guest service standards.
• Learns and understands menu and food preparation.
• Meets or exceeds kitchen sanitation standards
• Trains new employees in food preparation, food storage, sanitation and the prevention of cross-contamination.
• Cleans and maintains all equipment used in the Bakery.
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
