Description The Part-Time General Laborer supports the daily operations of our manufacturing facility by performing a variety of general labor tasks, including material handling, scrap recycling, housekeeping, and facility support. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while assisting production and warehouse teams to achieve operational goals. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Scrape, sort, and bale metal scrap materials for recycling. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through sweeping and general housekeeping. Load, unload, transport, and stage materials throughout the manufacturing facility. Assist production and warehouse personnel with general labor tasks as assigned. Remove debris and keep work areas free of hazards. Safely use hand tools and other equipment required to perform assigned duties. Support inventory movement and material organization when needed. Assist other departments based on operational needs. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines. Maintain reliable attendance and contribute to a positive team environment. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong work ethic with dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
