JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide direct and consultative therapeutic and evaluative services for the diagnostic, preventative and interventive purposes in a collegial, collaborative elementary school setting. The BCBA will join our team of BCBAs whose roles include conducting descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and providing behavior analytic interpretations of the results. Experience working with students with autism and social-emotional-behavioral needs and experience writing and implementing behavioral plans is essential for this position.
The BCBA will model and consult with teachers, ABA techs and others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions and deliver instruction based on applied behavior analysis techniques/principles. The BCBA will also provide on-going consultation and support to special education teachers in our small classrooms for students requiring highly specialized instruction and support within a supportive classroom setting.
Requirements: Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst Registration with the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professionals.
