Description
Location: Beijing (Preferred)/Shanghai Your role: 1. As part of Retail Marketing Team, contribute to Retail market strategies and planning, with a focus on, but not limited to: • Develop Retail annual Business Plan (BP) • Further develop annual BP into communication materials for Retail Business Team • Based on BP strategy directions, further develop Retail channel operational plan (to regional/ key province level) • Responsible for overall Retail Marketing execution excellence incl. dashboard for tracking Retail Business KPIs in the alignment with key Retail priorities, and deliver reports on regular basis • Support the market research and data analysis to address BP/ ongoing strategy update needs 2. Co-develop annual Retail activity plan with Strategy and Retail Product Manager/ EC Product Manager/ Trade Marketing Manager, and ensure cross-functional alignment • Responsible for Retail Marketing budget planning (incl. allocation to regional level), phasing and reporting on central level • Design the assigned key Retail campaigns and activities, and KPIs 3. Drive and execute the assigned Retail activities, track implementation effectiveness, and continuously optimize strategies to support retail business teams in achieving business objectives 4. Address practical challenges in Marketing strategy/campaign/ activity execution based on feedback from Retail business teams and provide actionable solutions 5. Deliver training to Retail teams on market trends, product competition, strategy/messaging interpretation, and the application of marketing tools 6. Collaborate with Medical and Brand teams to create and distribute promotional materials tailored for Retail channel scenarios 7. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to advance brand objectives in the Retail market 8. Ad-hoc support in relation to Retail Marketing Interfaces with other Departments/Functions: *Retail Sales Team ( primarily Retail Business Head, rade MK manager , Retail NKA head, Retail Operation Manager, Regional Sales Managers) *S&I (EC Product Manager, Retail Product Manager, Sr. Strategy Manager, Sr. Portfolio Expansion Manager) *Brand team *Medical e.g. Medical Affairs/ Medical Education etc *SEI MR/ FFE etc *GMA *Controlling *Legal/ Compliance External Interfaces: *Retail KA Head of Chronic Disease Management *Retail KA Management *Retail Industry Experts *Consulting firms/MR firms *Marketing Agencies Who you are: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Marketing Proficiency in both spoken and written English. 5+ years of marketing-related experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Preferably with extensive experience in Rx Retail/Omnichannel Marketing Preferably with in-depth understanding of the retail market, with strong connections in the chain customer network Understanding of the Chinese pharmaceutical market, Rx promotion models and value chains Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and analytical skills Strong analytical and planning skills Advanced Project Management skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.Excellent communication skills (internal/external), execution capabilities, business acumen, and teamwork spirit Strongstakeholder management, with the ability to drive progress to reach consensus among multiple stakeholders Positive attitude and can-do attitude, quick learning and adaptability, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends. Willingness to take up challenges Can work under pressure and tight deadline
