 FP-A TFSS 6AM-630PM REPORTS TO: JOSE ANTONIO CERVANTES   RESPONSIBILITIES   * Performs tasks, activities, and responsibilities according to the established standard operating procedures and checklists.    * Performs preventive maintenance on equipment according to an established schedule.   * Identifies continuous improvement initiatives when troubleshooting equipment issues to enhance overall efficiency and reduce waste in production.   * Interprets work orders and specifications to determine if machines and equipment require replacement, repair, or general maintenance.   * Investigate, identify, and resolve operational constraints in the process while eliminating and minimizing bottlenecks to prevent operational downtime.   * Ensures equipment is set up properly and operates for maximum efficiencies.       QUALIFICATIONS     Required:  * Engineering degree mechanical, mechatronics, industrial, electrical or equivalent.  * 1 year of relevant experience in a technician role, preferably food manufacturing.  * Analytically minded and willing to learn new computer systems.    SCHEDULE   * Either A or B shift  * 4 days on/3 days off  * Sundays are required  COMPENSATION   * Hourly established by the collective bargaining unit    WORK ENVIRONMENT   The physical and work demands listed here represent those an employee should possess to successfully perform the job's essential functions.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.    * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility.    * The employee must regularly lift and move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.    * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  * This position works on the production floor 95% of the time.  * While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical parts; and occasionally in outside weather conditions and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.    * The noise level in the work environment requires hearing protection at all times when on the production floor
