Responsibilities:
- As our Lead Solar Electrician, you will play a key role in designing, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems, ensuring that all installations meet the highest standards for safety and performance. You will manage and oversee solar projects from start to finish, leading a team of professionals while engaging with clients and key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Install, lead the installation, inspection, and maintenance of solar PV systems (including panels, inverters, and mounting systems), ensuring compliance with the industry standards.
- Oversee the connection of solar systems to the electrical grid and handle all wiring, ensuring a seamless energy flow.
- Troubleshoot and repair solar PV systems, including diagnosing faults with panels, inverters, and battery storage.
- Ensure all work complies with the latest Australian electrical codes, solar standards, and safety regulations.
- Provide clear communication and excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and explaining system functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and apprentices to complete installations on time and within budget.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
