Description

EVOOVE IS PARTNERED WITH AN AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE MANUFACTURER SEEKING SKILLED A&P AVIATION MECHANICS IN MOBILE, AL.

This is a 6-month contract-to-perm role with pay ranging from $33–$35/hour. Two openings are available: one on first shift and one on second shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft maintenance and repairs in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Maintain, service, and inspect aircraft systems with a focus on flight safety.
  • Read, interpret, and complete maintenance documentation accurately.
  • Use proper tools, ensuring calibration and compliance.
  • Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations in all tasks.
  • Support supervisors and complete assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; A&P training with emphasis on structures and composites preferred.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required.
  • 5–10 years of aviation maintenance experience; avionics experience required.
  • Experience with turboprop aircraft is a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and meet physical requirements of the role.
  • English proficiency required; Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Position Details

  • Pay: $33–$35 per hour.
  • Schedule: Full-time, contract-to-perm. First and second shift openings available.
  • Travel: Limited domestic or international travel possible.
  • Contract: 6 months with potential to transition to permanent employment.
