Description The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft while complying with company and FAA rules and regulations. Responsibilities: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Lead Mechanic. Comply with all company rules and regulations regarding industrial safety. Complete assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with standard practices and procedures established by the Lead Mechanic and relevant manuals. Maintain equipment, tools, and the workplace in a clean and organized fashion. Perform job functions with the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience with piston-powered, General Aviation aircraft Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations. Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics. Proficiency in using computerized aircraft maintenance programs and manuals. Quantum MX proficiency is a plus. Able to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Must demonstrate organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player. Candidates must possess their own tools and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently with adherence to company policies. Certificates and Licenses: Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred, but not required.
