Today we are looking for an A2R Analyst / Senior Analyst (Payroll Focus) to support payroll accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of payroll transactions, balance sheet integrity, and strong collaboration with key stakeholders. The position requires a proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on resolving reconciling items, improving processes, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. YOU WILL Prepare, review, and post payroll-related journal entries in JDE Edwards, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all payroll postings. Manage and control payroll-related accounting transactions within the general ledger. Perform detailed reconciliation of payroll-related balance sheet accounts in BlackLine, ensuring compliance with internal policies. Analyze account balances, investigate reconciling items, and drive timely resolution of discrepancies. Provide clear explanations of movements and variances in payroll accounts for internal stakeholders. Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to payroll accounting. Support regional and global reporting requirements, including balance sheet reviews focused on payroll impacts. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and local regulatory requirements. Execute SOX and operational controls related to payroll accounting processes. Support internal and external audits by preparing accurate documentation and explanations. Collaborate proactively with Payroll, HR, Controllership, and other key stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of payroll data. Act as a subject-matter contact for payroll accounting topics, driving issue resolution and alignment. Identify opportunities to improve payroll accounting processes, reconciliation quality, and automation. Participate in transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and ad hoc accounting projects. 3-5+ years of experience in A2R/GL, payroll accounting, or similar accounting roles. Strong understanding of payroll accounting processes and general ledger principles. Experience working with JDE Edwards, BlackLine, or similar ERP/reconciliation tools. Solid knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks (SOX experience is a strong plus). Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to investigate and resolve reconciling items independently. Experience with month-end close processes and balance sheet ownership. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proactive, solution-oriented approach and accountability for assigned areas.
