The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced and regulated environment. The business: Recycling Lives Services is not a typical recycling company. Since 2008, the business has been structurally built around social value, employing people from disadvantaged backgrounds, partnering with the justice system to reduce reoffending, and delivering environmental excellence at scale. The social mission is not a layer added on top of commercial activity. It is the reason the business operates in the way it does. As a certified B Corp (scoring 103.5 against a business median of 50.9), Recycling Lives Services generated £42.9m in social value in 2024, achieved a 61% reduction in CO2 emissions, and diverted 97% of waste from landfill. 15% of our team have been welcomed through our rehabilitation programmes, and only 6% of people we support reoffend — compared to a national average of over 25%. We operate UK-wide across construction, manufacturing, retail, utilities and public sector markets, offering total waste management, WEEE recycling, and specialist hazardous waste services. Key responsibilities: Manage and monitor the shared AATF mailbox, ensuring prompt and professional responses to all enquiries. Take the lead in reviewing weighbridge documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Record and report any non-conformances or errors identified. Lead the preparation and completion of ICER reports (weekly and monthly), ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines. Handle ICER-related queries and provide completed Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes where required. Support with the submission of evidence notes to be issued to compliance schemes. Provide administrative support to the weighbridge team as needed, including covering during peak periods or staff absence. Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing and prospective AATF members. Support the submission of regulatory data, including quarterly and annual returns, ensuring all data is accurate and submitted within required timescales. Assist with any necessary resubmissions. Stay up to date with regulatory changes, understanding and communicating their impact on AATF processes. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of AATF processes in line with ISO standards, promoting best practice across the team. Identify and report internal and external non-conformances to management, and support the development and implementation of corrective actions to improve processes and prevent recurrence. Measures of Success: All AATF regulatory and reporting deadlines are met, with data submitted accurately and within required timescales High standards of service delivery are maintained, with timely management of mailbox enquiries and positive feedback from AATF members and internal stakeholders Weighbridge checks, ICER reporting, and evidence note submissions are completed accurately, with non-conformances identified, reported, and addressed effectively Strong governance is maintained in line with ISO standards, with continuous improvement demonstrated through effective process enhancements Who you are: You are a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with data and processes, and have the confidence to challenge inaccuracies and identify opportunities for improvement. You have excellent administrative and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and external stakeholders. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
