JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. Learning Pathways Developmental Services aims to provide high-quality therapeutic approaches in-home, and community-based services to children and youth with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and developmental disabilities. We are currently looking to hire an instructor therapist to join our team to deliver evidence-based Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational and or Clinical background in applied behavioural analysis
  • Experience implementing ABA teaching strategies with children ASD and learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Enthusiastic with the ability to connect with children and work successfully within the team.
  • Independent, self motivated, yet willing to accept guidance and feedback from Supervisors.
  • Valid Drivers License and access to vehicle during working hours.
  • Available to work during the day, evenings, and optional weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Implement ABA programs related to the needs and goals of the client under BCBA supervision
  • Support client goals through implementing strategies and monitoring progress.
  • Data Collection and communication with BCBA.
  • Assisting with client assessments (e.g., VBMAPP, AFLS, ABLLS-R)
  • Maintain a good rapport with the interdisciplinary team, including the family.
  • Create and maintain a healthy and positive environment for the client to promote progress.
  • Create optimal opportunities for learning by including the family into the therapy sessions.
