JOB SUMMARY

The ABA Therapist plays a crucial role in providing individualized therapy to children with autism and other developmental disorders. This position involves implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the overall development of each child. The ABA Therapist works closely with families, educators, and other professionals to create a supportive environment that fosters growth and learning.

SKILLS

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disorders..
  • Strong research skills to stay updated on best practices in ABA therapy.
  • Knowledge of pediatric care principles and medical terminology.
  • Proficient in case management techniques to coordinate care effectively.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data for treatment evaluation.
  • Understanding of special education processes and resources available for children with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
