Job Title: ABA Therapist (in the home setting)
Posting on behalf of a family in Dubai, based in Dubai Marina.
A family is seeking a freelance ABA therapist to provide 1:1 ABA sessions for a 3-year old boy who has language and social delays. The ideal candidate will have previous experience running ABA sessions.
The candidate will initially run a 2-hour session with the learner in the morning, with the plan to extend sessions to 4-5 hours a day as the learner adapts.
Pay is on an hourly basis, and the ideal candidate would drive/take public transport and have their own visa. Full training and high-quality supervision will be provided by the BCBA. All programs will be overseen by the BCBA, and supervision towards certification can be provided. Supervision will be weekly - this is a great opportunity to learn about Precision Teaching and Assent from a highly experienced BCBA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions, including data collection and recording
- Monitor and report on learner’s progress to the parents
- Report to the learner’s supervisor/ BCBA on regular basis
Requirements:
- Experience in running ABA sessions
-RBT or IBT preferred
- Passionate, fun, and enjoys playing and singing
- Must have own residency visa and insurance
Salary:
The salary for this position will vary depending on the experience and education level of the candidate and will be negotiated directly with the family.
