Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach learners the most developmentally appropriate functional skills as determined by each individual assessment and treatment plan
• Work with individual learners or groups of learners within the center and homes
• Responsible for daily upkeep of program materials for assigned learners
• Receive passing scores on competency evaluations for instruction and record keeping
• Interact with parents and others in a professional manner
• Protect and ensure the health and safety of each child in the Center and homes
• Assist learners with health and hygiene practices
• Participate in the development of reports, treatment plans and problem behavior reduction plans
• Participate in staff meetings and mandatory in-service trainings
• Adhere to and maintain the integrity of the Neam Clinic’s guiding principles.

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms

• Ability to lift 15kg / 30 lbs (to lift a child)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in behavior sciences, psychology, or education
• Training in Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred, e.g. RBT, IBT, ABAT
• At least two years demonstrable ABA work experience in a clinic or school setting - written references will be sought, please identify suitable providers of these references
• Excellent English, spoken and written
