Thank you for your interest in the ABA / Instructor Therapist position with Inclusive Milestones Children Development Centres (IMCDC).
This position is responsible for delivery and implementation of client specific ABA intervention in compliance with IMCDC policies and procedures. We provide individualized and comprehensive assessments as well as unique treatment programs for each of our clients. Inclusive Milestones strongly believes in a multi-disciplinary and child centred approach to therapy.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Inclusive Milestones is looking for an energetic and creative ABA/Instructor Therapist to provide daily ABA therapy interventions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in centre.
  • To work with children from different background and specialized populations.
  • To collaborate and consult with other company professionals.
  • To create and develop therapy materials as needed.
  • To provide families with resources, information and homework ideas.
  • Monitor progression of programming.
  • Report to the Sr. ABA Therapist, BCBA and Clinical Director.
  • To perform other duties as assigned by Clinical Director.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma and/or degree in CYW, Autism or behavioural science, ECE or related field.
  • ABA experience is an asset.
  • Previous experience working with children with exceptionalities.
  • Minimum 1 year related experience working in ABA or related field.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Must be flexible, energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • RBT or working towards RBT certification is an asset.
  • Patience mandatory
  • A valid Ontario Driver’s License and have access to own transportation preferred.
