We are currently seeking an energetic and engaging ABA to work with children and youth reach their potential through interactive and effective programs and tailored strategies. These candidate will be available to travel with a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to provide services in the Burlington and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a high quality ABA services to clients within the community
  • Preparation of teaching materials, implementing the programming, monitoring the client’s progress and the effectiveness of the individualized programs
  • Responsible for progress notes, recording and graphing of programming data
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to clients and their parents/caregivers along with others on the care team.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and company information and discusses same only with appropriate company Managers/Team Leads.
  • Participate in scheduled team meetings and conferences as required
  • Complete other tasks as requested

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences or equivalent or near completion of such degree OR CYW, SSW, PSW, or DSW diploma
  • One to two years of ABA experience
  • Keen understanding of ABA principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Self-motivated, high energy, and enthusiastic individuals are preferred
  • Experience working with special needs an asset
  • Experience implementing ABA/IBI with children and youth with learning disabilities an asset
  • Work independently and in a team with student both individually and in groups
  • A current and clear Vulnerable Sector Screen Check
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and car insurance and be open to travelling within the Peel Region and it’s surrounding areas.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
