OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental challenges, implementing individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is crucial in helping children develop essential skills and improve their overall quality of life through structured interventions.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with children in a pediatric or special education setting is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with case management practices and patient care protocols is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to developmental disorders is an asset.
  • Previous experience in research related to behavioral therapies or interventions is a plus.
  • Strong data collection skills for tracking progress and outcomes effectively.
  • A background in working within hospital settings can enhance the understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to identify the needs and strengths of each child.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique requirements.
  • Utilize ABA techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to therapy.
  • Provide training and support to families on strategies to reinforce skills at home.
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
