BEHAVIOUR THERAPIST (ABA/IBI – IN-HOME SERVICES)

Location: Eglinton Ave. & Kipling Ave., Etobicoke, ON
Start Date: Immediate
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Spectrum Hills is seeking an experienced and compassionate Behaviour Therapist to join our growing team. This position involves delivering individualized ABA/IBI therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities in their homes, supporting meaningful progress in a natural and familiar setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational or clinical background in Applied Behaviour Analysis or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience implementing ABA strategies with children with ASD or other developmental needs.
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in home-based environments.
  • Open to supervision, feedback, and collaboration.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is an asset.
  • Available during the day, with optional evenings and weekends.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Speaking a Slavic language (e.g., Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, etc.) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Implement ABA/IBI therapy in the client’s home and other natural settings (e.g., daycare, school, community) in both 1:1 and small group formats.
  • Follow individualized treatment plans created by the Clinical Director and supervisory team.
  • Collect accurate session data and write clear daily communication notes.
  • Assist in preparing therapy materials, under the guidance of the Senior Therapist or Clinical Supervisor.
  • Foster strong, respectful communication with the child’s family and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Adhere to all Spectrum Hills policies and procedures.
