REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in teaching abacus/mental math is strongly preferred.
• Strong mathematical foundation and ability to inspire young learners.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Certification in abacus training methods is a plus.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for student development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field preferred.

• Conduct engaging abacus and mental math classes for students across different age groups.
• Teach students effective techniques for speed and accuracy in arithmetic calculations.
• Develop lesson plans and practice materials aligned with abacus training methodology.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Prepare students for competitions, assessments, and certification programs.
• Foster an enjoyable and motivating learning environment that builds focus and confidence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall math enrichment programs at the academy.
