JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Abatement Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the removal of hazardous materials in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in various environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in construction, restoration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools is essential.
  • Minimum of 1 full year of experience in environmental remediation or abatement work (more than 2-3 years for the abatement leader)
  • Type 2 or 3 Abatement (Is Mandatory)
  • G license preferable
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations associated with hazardous materials, including OSHA standards, EPA guidelines, and state/local regulations.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous material handling.
  • Ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
