Reporting to the Senior Project Coordinator but with a day-to-day responsibility to the on-site Solotech Crew Chief, the Head of Audio (Audio HOD) will have experience in operating large scale live productions in theatre or other industries. The show is very complex across all disciplines; therefore, the Audio HOD with a Monitors bias Engineer will be able to work calmly under extreme pressure. Experience with running a team and communicating effectively across a large organisation is important.
Experience with some or all the existing technical disciplines used on the show is important.

ESSENTIAL LEVEL OF EDUCATION:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or proven work experience.
  • Industry accepted qualifications.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 3 years proven industry work experience within live events or theatre sector, with knowledge of key controls and disciplines used within the show.
  • A minimum of one year of managing a team.

  • Flexibility and adaptability, capable of multitasking, while remaining calm under pressure.
