Responsibilities
  1. Drive the implementation of national strategies contextualised to the NT Health education and training frameworks to build a strong,
    sustainable, and culturally safe Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker and Practitioner workforce.
  2. In collaboration with the senior professional leads, provide guidance and support in delivering key initiatives, including clinical
    supervision, professional practice, mentoring, upskilling, and succession planning across the NT.
  3. Influence contemporary practice within defined practice areas through the application of expert education and clinical knowledge,
    skills, and attributes.
  4. Contribute to relevant clinical governance systems through evaluation and development of skills and competency in professional
    practice supervision and support the Office of the Chief Aboriginal Health Practitioner in strategic planning and evaluation to
    address workforce needs.
  5. Promote and follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being
    undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services, and workplaces.
  6. Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
