Responsibilities
  1. Provide culturally responsive primary health care practice in collaboration with other healthcare professionals including developing
    and coordinating healthcare plans for individuals; supporting them in complying with their care plan as required and within a defined
    scope of practice.
  2. Participate in planning, delivery and evaluation of health education and health promotion programs, including engaging with local
    Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members to strengthen community involvement in health service delivery.
  3. Participate in the organisation’s Continuous Quality Improvement process for the provision of safe, effective and efficient health care.
  4. Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to trainee and new graduate Aboriginal Health Practitioners to develop their skills,
    knowledge and professional capabilities.
  5. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in
    order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
  6. Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary practice and role modelling behaviour.
